About me
Brian Casio is an international student based in El Paso, Texas, currently pursuing an Associate’s degree in Computer Science at El Paso Community College (EPCC). As a sophomore, he actively leads on-campus initiatives, serving as President of the ACM/IEEE Computing Club and the Google Developer Group. He also works as a peer leader in EPCC's PLTL program, helping other students succeed in their studies.
Brian is part of a cybersecurity research team at the University of Texas at El Paso. The team is developing a framework that integrates technologies like Splunk SIEM, OPNsense/Suricata, Google Cloud Platform, and Open Source MANO to enhance cybersecurity for Operational Technology networks.
Before studying computer science, Brian studied medicine in Ciudad Juárez before shifting his focus to technology.
