About me
Mr. Savage is the Chief of the Special Capabilities Group for the Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Crime Center (DC3)/Operations Enablement Directorate. In this role, he is responsible for a portfolio of programs aimed at enhancing Defense Industrial Base (DIB) cybersecurity as well as increasing data sharing of DIB insights with Law Enforcement and Counter Intelligence entities of the DoD. He has led multiple programs within DC3 from initial concept to inception, including acquisition and sustainment of these programs.
Prior to joining DC3, Mr. Savage performed a variety of roles in the private sector including web design and application development, before joining the U.S. Navy and serving 12 years as a Cryptologic Technician. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Assurance from the University of Maryland and holds numerous government and industry certifications. Mr. Savage lives in Maryland with his wife and two children and spends his spare time working on small electronics and radio signal projects, as well as collecting rare silkscreen concert posters.
